“Neftisa” is the Silver Medalist in the “Ecology Cup” Football Tournament

     On June 4-5, a charity mini-football tournament “Ecology Cup” was held in Moscow at the Meteor Stadium, where the “Neftisa” football team took part. The “Ecology Cup” competition is timed to the “Ecologist's Day”, and is organized with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow. Teams of major metropolitan environmentally responsible organizations were invited to participate. The purpose of this tournament was to attract the attention of residents and guests of our city to the issues of environmental development, as well as to popularize the idea of healthy lifestyle. After all, sports events unite the participants and strengthen team spirit!
     Despite the ongoing, long and difficult Business Champions League tournament, in which the team is currently taking part, the lack of an optimal composition of players, our team showed fantastic character and dedication! According to the results of a stubborn confrontation on the football fields of the “Meteor” stadium, the team reached the very finals and was awarded the silver medalist of the championship!
     The goalkeeper of the “Neftisa” team was awarded a separate recognition, becoming the best goalkeeper at the end of the tournament.
     An important contribution to the overall success and fighting spirit of the players was made by the “12th player” of the team - these are the fans from the company, who actively supported the Team and motivated it from the first to the last minutes!
