Yesterday, on June 1, the International Technological Forum “Innovative Technologies of Subsurface Use as the Basis of the Economy of the Future” was held, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the State Commission on Mineral Reserves. The forum discussed the most pressing issues related to the activities of mining companies.
Director General of the company, Andrey Zarubin, made a report on the topic “The Role of Traditional and Renewable Sources for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals”. He commented on the situation with Russian oil companies in the current realities and noted that state assistance will be required to support geological exploration in the Russian Federation. Today, the dialogue between authorities and business is especially important in order to jointly come to common global goals for the sustainable development of the country's economy.
The sovereign audit of reserves was the next issue of the forum. Dmitry Oleinik, Adviser to the Head of the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use, made a report. To date, Russian companies cannot undergo an international inventory assessment audit, therefore Russia wants to develop its own system that will comply with international standards. During the speech, the participants of the discussion had the opportunity to speak on this issue, to voice important factors that should be considered when restructuring the whole mechanism.
“Man and Nature. Partnership Through Technology” was the final question at the Forum. Leonid Brilliant, Director General of TING LLC, made a report, where he explained how neural network technologies are being introduced into the oil production process on the example of our company “Neftisa”. And this is not only an increase in profit, production, income per well, but also an increase in the volume of residual recoverable reserves. These are opportunities for a new technological transition in Russia.
